Dozens of Iranian companies take part in Venezuela knowledge-based exhibit

Over 150 Iranian companies are showcasing their start-up businesses and creative technological products in the knowledge-based exhibition in the Venezuelan capital Caracas that kicked off on Wednesday.
The Iranian companies active in fields of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure development, agriculture, oil and petrochemicals, and advanced machineries are present in this exhibition.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro attended the opening ceremony and after visiting Iranian technological products, issued special orders to his cabinet ministers to use Iranian knowledge-based products.
Earlier this year in June, Maduro visited an exhibition of the capabilities and achievements of Iranian companies and instructed Venezuelan officials to boost interactions with Iranian companies.
The direct flights between Tehran and Caracas, launched in July, have provided the basis for stepped-up commercial cooperation between the two countries.
