Iran participates in Uzbekistan Innovative Ideas Week

Iran has taken part in the International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek.uz-2022” inaugurated in the Uzbek capital Tashkent on Tuesday with the theme of “Green Innovations for Sustainable Development”. 

An Iranian business and technology delegation, supported by Iran’s National Innovation Fund (INIF) and the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions, is showcasing the country’s achievements in the event.

After the opening ceremony, Uzbek officials and investors from 18 countries visited Iran’s pavilion in the exhibition, attended by 30 knowledge-based Iranian companies.

The four-day event seeks to push for a transition to innovative development and a digital economy and diminish the effects of “anthropogenic factor” that damages human beings and the environment, according to Uzbek Minister of Innovative Development Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov.
