Iranian firm manufactures more solid car sealers with nanotechnology

An Iranian knowledge-based group has used nanotechnology to manufacture sealers for use in vehicles, claiming higher solidity and durability.

The Goharfaam Manufacturing and Industrial Group uses nanotechnology to produce polyvinyl chloride-based sealers.

The use of polyvinyl chloride, according to the company, boosts the products’ durability and resistance to vibration and physical shock.

Among the qualities of the products are proper adhesiveness, the possibility of production in any color, convenient use, quick dry capability, excellent heat resistance, and high resilience in different weather conditions, according to the manufacturer.

The Goharfaam Manufacturing and Industrial Group receives sponsorship from the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology to produce domestically-developed sealers using nanotechnology.

Sealers are used to prevent the leakage of liquid, dust and other particles, and gas into the cabin of vehicles. They are also used to keep out noise and are expected to be resistant to water and moist.
