Rescue operations go accurate thanks to new Iranian-made product

An Iranian-made product has enhanced the performance of rescue workers in foul weather conditions. 

The meteorological geoinformatics system is a knowledge-based product that is mainly directed at Iran’s Red Crescent Rescue Organization. 

The system is meant to check weather conditions and improve success chances of rescue operations. 

This product has been manufactured by Kavesh Sepehr Lotus Company. Three main points have been taken into account in the manufacturing of this system: 1-Providing data for all important population points; 2-Assessing the risk caused by different weather phenomena and informing the rescue workers; 3-Accuracy in specifying the aspects of different weather phenomena. 

While making it, the producers of the system took account of 8 phenomena that can cause material damage and loss of life based on Iran’s climate. This is aimed at making it possible to take appropriate and timely action before and during a weather phenomenon. 

For each region, even at the level of a county, and for different periods of time, the system enables its users to forecast the risk of different phenomena and their intensity as well as their possible results. Thus, authorities and rescue workers take necessary measures when prevention is possible.
