Iran says knowledge-based firms ready for strong presence in African, Latin American markets in two years

Iranian knowledge-based companies are expanding their presence beyond the markets in neighboring countries and have set their eyes on African and Latin American countries, an official says.

The head of Iran’s Organization for Development of International Cooperation in Science and Technology, Amir Hossein Mirabadi made the remarks on the sidelines of the International Innovation and Technology Exhibition, INOTEX 2024, held in the Iranian capital Tehran.

He said the quality of the exhibition has significantly improved compared to the previous editions, adding “The presence of foreign guests and their feedback indicate positive developments have taken place in INOTEX.”

Mirabadi said his organization is creating larger capacities for the knowledge-based firms to display their achievements in international markets.

He stated, “In addition to neighboring countries, Africa and Latin America are areas that have received less attention. Therefore, we have specially focused on these areas and have received good feedback.”

“I assure you that in the next two years, we will see a strong presence of knowledge-based companies in the African and Latin American markets,” he said.
