Int’l Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries kicks off in Tehran

The 23rd Int’l Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries (IRANPLEX 2024) was inaugurated in the Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday.

Senior officials, including the Iranian vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy and chairman of the Agriculture Committee of the Parliament participated in the opening ceremony. 

China, Turkey and Russia have pavilions and representatives of foreign companies from Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Denmark, Estonia, Malaysia, Spain, India, Brazil as well as 39 ambassadors and 11 business delegations from neighboring countries will attend this year’s event. 

Meanwhile, 400 domestic companies are displaying their latest achievements in this exhibition whose slogan is “Livestock Feed, the Axis of Sustainable Development.” 

A wide range of products including veterinary drugs, vaccines, disinfectants, supplements and concentrates, laboratories and equipment, livestock and poultry feed and additives, animal husbandry machinery, slaughterhouse equipment, as well as heating and cooling equipment will be displayed in the exhibition. 

The expo is open from 08:00 am to 15:00 pm local time and will run through Tuesday.
