Iran’s new Vice-President for Science, Tech, Knowledge-Based Economy inaugurated

In a ceremony attended by the First Vice President of Iran, the introduction of the new Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy took place in Tehran. 

The event, held at the Vice Presidency’s office, honored the efforts of Rouhollah Dehghani, the former Vice President, while introducing Hossein Afshin as the new Vice President for the 14th administration. 

During the ceremony, attended by Sorena Sattari, the former Vice President for Science and Technology, speeches emphasized the significant achievements of the Vice Presidency under four different administrations. 

The new Vice President, Hossein Afshin, outlined future plans, emphasizing the importance of scientific and technological advancements for the country’s progress. 

First Vice President Mohammadreza Aref highlighted the strategic role of the Vice Presidency, stating that its directives reflect the scientific and technological priorities of the government. 

Aref underscored Iran’s notable advancements in high technology, attributing the progress to the dedication of the country’s young and energetic workforce. 

He also stressed the importance of leveraging the country’s human capital and natural resources in all planning efforts, aligning with the national vision for regional leadership in various fields by the coming year.
