Iranian company develops cost-effective electronic anatomy table

A pioneering Iranian knowledge-based company has designed and developed the first electronic anatomy table for human body studies, offering an interactive experience of real human anatomy at one-fifth the price of foreign models.

Mehdi Mahjoob, the CEO of the company, stated that the product, along with other innovations, has been localized through the efforts of Iranian technologists and is being provided to educational and medical centers across the country.

Mahjoob explained that due to harsh sanctions, Iran faces significant challenges in importing similar systems from Western countries.

He highlighted several advantages of the electronic anatomy table, including its lower cost compared to similar models, detailed schematics and real cadaver models, 3D surface scans, networking and smart education capabilities, and connectivity to virtual and augmented reality infrastructures.

With over 50 medical and educational centers already utilizing their electronic anatomy table, Mahjoob emphasized the product’s compliance with European CE standards in the areas of EMC and Safety.

The product is also available as software with online server implementation capabilities, aiming to expand its service reach even further.

The company has also leveraged new technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, laser surface scans, and the ability to study and reconstruct radiologic models, surpassing the capabilities offered by foreign competitors, he added.
