Novel technique enables Iranian company to save 10mn. cubic meters of gas per annum

Arvand Petrochemical Company has achieved a significant milestone by saving 10 million cubic meters of gas annually by using aerogel insulation.

This is the first time such a technology has been implemented in Iran’s petrochemical industry.

The initiative aims to address energy imbalances within the company’s systems while optimizing energy consumption, reducing costs, and protecting the country’s natural resources.

According to the office of Iran’s vice president for science and technology, Pakane Atieh Nanodanesh knowledge-based company has effectively reduced energy waste and preserved substantial amounts of natural gas during production processes by employing aerogel insulation.

These materials are known for their exceptionally low thermal conductivity, making them one of the most efficient solutions for preventing energy loss across various industries.

The implementation of this technology at Arvand Petrochemical Company not only enhances production efficiency but also contributes to significant cost savings and alleviates pressure on national energy resources.

Remarkably, the return on investment for this project occurred in less than two months, highlighting the positive impact of modern technologies on operational costs and productivity in energy-intensive sectors like petrochemicals.
