10th intl. conference on nanoscience, nanotech to be held in Iran’s Rafsanjan

The 10th International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology will take place at Vali-e-Asr University of Rafsanjan from January 30 to 31, 2025, featuring prominent researchers and scientists from around the globe.
According to the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy’s information center, the event will cover diverse topics, including nanochemistry, nanophysics, nanomedicine, energy applications, and environmental considerations.
It also offers specialized workshops and showcases by knowledge-based companies, providing a unique platform for knowledge exchange.
Keynote speakers include Professor Albert Nasibulin from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Russia, who will discuss “Carbon Nanotubes: From Synthesis to Applications,” and Professor Mojtaba Abdi Jalebi from University College London, presenting on “Advanced Nanostructured Materials for Solar Photovoltaics and Electrochemical Systems.” From Iran, Professor Mirfazlollah Mousavi of Tarbiat Modares University will address “Advanced Multifunctional Materials for Green Hydrogen Production,” and Professor Mohammad Rusop Mahmood of Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, will explore “Natural Carbon Nanostructures for Optoelectronic Devices.”
Specialized workshops will enhance participants’ understanding of the latest advancements in nanotechnology. This prestigious event aims to foster innovation and collaboration, advancing nanoscience research in Iran and globally.
