Iran’s Pardis tech park hosts EU economic counselors to expand intl. cooperation

In a bid to enhance international collaboration in science, technology, and innovation, a delegation of economic counselors from European Union embassies visited the Iran International Innovation Zone, located in Pardis Technology Park, near Tehran.

Organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland—the current rotating presidency of the EU—the visit aimed to introduce the EU delegation the latest achievements of Iranian tech companies and to explore new avenues for bilateral and multilateral partnerships.

During the visit, Amin Reza Khaleghian, Director General of International Affairs and Communications at Pardis Technology Park, delivered an overview of the park’s ecosystem and highlighted the achievements of the companies operating within the zone.

He emphasized Iran’s readiness to expand scientific and technological exchanges with European countries and invited European tech parks to establish formal cooperation mechanisms with their Iranian counterparts.

Khaleghian also pointed to the park’s history of successful technological cooperation with the EU and expressed optimism about building on those foundations for future partnerships.

Sajjad Abbasi Fashami, Director General of Cluster Promotion and Development, introduced two flagship initiatives of the park—the INOTEX International Innovation Exhibition and the Technology Olympics. He invited the European diplomatic delegation to attend the upcoming INOTEX event, describing it as a valuable platform for showcasing Iran’s homegrown innovations and facilitating connections with international tech stakeholders.

The visit also included a tour of the Iranian-made Medical Equipment Exhibition and DayoPars, a knowledge-based company specializing in dental implant production.
