Iran hosts Connect+ Forum to link diaspora experts with domestic tech sector

The fifth Connect+ Forum will convene on Wednesday at Iran’s House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT) to facilitate knowledge exchanges between Iranian specialists abroad and domestic technology leaders, the Communications and Information Center of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy reported.

Organized by Iran’s International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Organization, the forum serves as a bridge connecting the global Iranian expert community with the country’s innovation ecosystem.

This year’s edition, running concurrently with the Iran Expo 2025 trade exhibition, features three keynote addresses from prominent diaspora professionals sharing their technical expertise and achievements.

The program includes specialized networking sessions between expatriate specialists, domestic technologists, and industrial leaders.

Participants will examine both opportunities and challenges in technology collaboration, while visiting select exhibitions at Iran Expo 2025 showcasing advanced domestic innovations.

Key activities will take place at the iHiT Innovation Center, where attendees can review technological achievements by Iranian specialists.

The forum particularly emphasizes on building practical connections that can translate into collaborative projects or knowledge transfer initiatives.
