Iranian tech park unveils 8 knowledge-based products

Iran’s Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy Hossein Afshin visited the Mazandaran Science and Technology Park, where eight new knowledge-based products developed by resident companies were unveiled.
Among the highlighted innovations was an industrial rectifier designed by Khazar Transfo, showcasing Iran’s self-sufficiency in high-current rectifiers for use in electrochemical and metallurgical industries. Another breakthrough came from Ebtekar Tajhiz Teb Yekta with a vaccine storage refrigerator featuring IoT-based temperature control and energy management.
In the field of chemicals, Namigostar Shimi presented spherical silica gel capable of absorbing up to 40 percent of its weight in moisture.
Novin Zarre Amard introduced nano-alumina, produced through a hydrodynamic cavitation process with applications ranging from energy and biomedicine to water treatment.
In the oil and gas sector, Shomal Pirooz showcased explosion-proof electrical equipment tailored to petrochemical safety standards.
Other products included industrial hydro-pneumatic accumulators, a three-story smoke-room simulator for firefighter training, and advanced pressure vessels developed by Makhzan Foolad Rafe, designed to replace imports and serve industries from automotive to aerospace.
Afshin praised the companies’ efforts, stressing that support for domestic innovation and advanced technology is vital to strengthening Iran’s self-reliance and expanding its knowledge-based economy.
