Iranian telecom firms showcase cutting-edge tech at Itex 2025 in Baghdad

Eight Iranian knowledge-based companies specializing in telecommunications infrastructure participated in the International Itex Exhibition in Baghdad, presenting their technological capabilities to regional and global markets.

The event, one of the Middle East’s leading gatherings for information and communication technology (ICT), ran from September 25 to 28.

This year, the exhibition featured a dedicated pavilion for Iranian firms, organized by the National ICT Guild Organization with support from the Presidential Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.

According to organizers, the participating Iranian companies aimed to expand international cooperation, promote their technological achievements, and strengthen the export market for advanced telecom services and products.

The Vice-Presidency’s Center for Communications highlighted that Iran’s presence at Itex reflected broader efforts to boost connectivity, digital economy initiatives, and regional partnerships in the ICT sector.

By joining Itex 2025, Iranian firms sought not only to enhance visibility in Iraq’s growing tech market but also to establish stronger links across the Middle East and beyond.

The exhibition provided a platform for showcasing innovation and building new trade and investment opportunities in digital infrastructure.
