Iran-made concentrate helps improve honey production

A new technology introduced by an Iranian knowledge-based company to produce honey with a protein concentrate has led to a hike in production in bee farms.
The concentrate boosts the performance of bees and provides them with the required amino acids, minerals and vitamins during growth and production.
The concentrate, produced by Spadana Mokammel under the aegis of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, contains sucrose, probiotics, amino acids, multivitamins, minerals and organic acids that meet the bee’s needs.
The company says the concentrate is a strong stimulator for the queen bee’s spawning and supplies the vitamins needed by bee colonies as long as fresh pollen is available.
The vitamins in the protein concentrate help break down energy compounds to obtain energy or synthesize many different chemical compounds such as sugars, proteins, amino acids, proteins, fatty acids, phospholipids, neurotransmitters and nucleic acids, the company explained.
It added the domestically produced concentrate, besides its reasonable price, leads to better production efficiency and currency savings and can consequently create new jobs in Iran.
