Huge increase in size of Iranian nanotechnology sector

Iranian nanotechnology companies are working to help the market of nano products boom. 

The headquarters for the development of tanotechnology of Iran has said companies operating in the field are divided into two groups: producers of nano products and manufacturers of nano equipment. 

The headquarters said last year, there were 263 producers of nano products and 61 manufactures of nano equipment active in Iran.  

By late December 2022, there were 271 producers of nano products and 64 manufactures of nano equipment. 

Figures show that the amount of nano products and pieces of nano equipment has increased more than 6-fold from 2013 to 2021. 

Meanwhile, Iranian nanotechnology companies exported 62 million dollars worth of nano products in the Persian year 1400 (starting March 21, 021 and ending March 20, 2022). 

In the same period, exports incerased by 53% compared to the previous year, but the 7% share of exports from the entire nano market has not changed much.
