Iran and Tajikistan to expand joint scientific projects

In a meeting, Director of Iran’s Center for International Scientific and technological Interaction Dr. Mirabadi and Director of Tajikistan’s Academy of Sciences Dr. Farhad have underlined the need for Tehran and Dushanbe to expand their joint scientific and technological ventures, especially between experts and researchers of the two countries.

Dehghani Firouzabadi and Farhad noted that an MoU will soon be signed by the two sides.

They were speaking after a visit by the Tajik side to the Iran House of Innovation and Technology in Tehran. Mirabadi said the common culture and language of Iran and Tajikistan can help create scientific cooperation between the two nations.

He added given that Iran has relations with the scientific centers of different countries, Tehran and Dushanbe need to define and implement projects for joint cooperation in the fields of education and transfer of technology.

Farhad also stressed the need to define joint scientific and technology projects,  calling for the establishment of an Iran House of Innovation and Technology in Tajikistan.

He called for a permanent display of Iranian technological products in the house, saying Tajiks need Iranian goods and technological know-how in such areas as construction materials, agricultural products and equipment, animal husbandry products and equipment, and medicine.
