Iranian scientists make unhackable computer chip at speed of light

Pennsylvania university researchers, under the supervision of Iranian lead scientist Nader Engheta and participation of Firouz Aflatooni, have invented a computer chip that cannot be hacked into and can carry out a quintillion computations per second.
The chip is faster than the old ones, consumes less energy, and since there is no need to store sensitive information in a computer’s working memory, it is unhackable.
The new computer chip uses light waves instead of electricity which improves the speed of data transfer and reduces the amount of electricity consumed.
The current computing systems are inefficient for artificial intelligence models which desperately need computers that can process large sets of information.
The features in the new chip make it ideal for recent explosion of AI models.
Professor Engheta is a distinguished scientist who has made astronomical contributions in physics and electrical engineering, among others.
