Iran exporting brake pad adhesive to Turkey

Iran is now exporting brake pad adhesive to Turkey after mass-producing the product inside the country.
Iran used to import the product from Turkey earlier.
The adhesive produced by the Iranian knowledge-based Amirkabir Carbonfanavar Company boosts the endurance of brake pads, reported the Communications and Information Center of the Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Department of the Presidential Office.
The product has been produced at a lower cost than foreign ones.
“The brake adhesive pads that were imported from Turkey cost $20-25 per kilogram while the Iranian nano-adhesive is supplied to consumers at $6-7 per kilogram,” said Seyyed Abbas Hosseini Majd, the commercial manager of the company.
The adhesive has been developed under a joint venture bringing together local experts in the domains of nanotechnology, metallurgy and polymer science.
