Oxford University Press adorns book with Iranian mathematical artist’s illustration

The Oxford University Press has used a mathematical-artistic work by Iranian mathematician Hamid Naderi Yeganeh for the cover on one of its books. 

The publications company has recently used an image created by Naderi Yeganeh on a book titled New Enjoying Mathematics to help students better understand the mathematical concepts and equations. 

Naderi Yeganeh, a PhD candidate in University College London, is known for his drawings of real-life objects, complicated and symmetrical illustrations and animations through mathematical formulas. 

His works has so far been showcased in several publications and shows, including AMS, CNN Style, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Science Friday, The American Mathematical Monthly journal, and The New York Times.
