A knowledge-based company in Iran has developed the country’s first fully automated saffron analyzer, designed to grade saffron and detect impurities and adulteration accurately. This advanced device is among the most precise and fastest tools for saffron quality assessment.

Bolourazmay Sanjesh Noor Company specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced optical, spectroscopic, and electro-optic devices. The company’s saffron analyzer employs cutting-edge spectrophotometry techniques, widely recognized by international and national standards for saffron quality assessment.

According to the company’s CEO, Mohammad Javad Karegar, the saffron analyzer utilizes CMOS-based spectrophotometry to assess saffron quality by analyzing its molecular characteristics. The device boasts high scanning and reading speeds, offering precise measurements with a resolution of up to 0.01 nm.

The analyzer’s unique features include a dual-beam system, allowing simultaneous analysis of a control sample and up to seven saffron samples.
