High voltage amplification substations equipment produced at the price of a quarter of foreign products

A knowledge-based company managed to produce the equipment needed to boost power stations at a quarter of the price of similar foreign products.

Referring to the significance of the equipment in the electricity industry of the country, Iraj Rafiei, the CEO of Paya Ravesh Aria, said, “The electricity industry is one of the most important parent industries in any developing country. In countries where the industry is not dynamic, it is not possible to grow and develop. For this reason, and in line with complete self-sufficiency in this field, during the last decade, the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology initiated a large knowledge-based movement in the electrical industry, and we also joined the movement.”
The company is one of the knowledge-based groups whose products are used in the electricity industry and provides various products to various industries, including in the field of monitoring, control and industrial automation and telecommunications systems.
Among the equipment are battery chargers, protection relays and multiplexers, which are especially used in the electrical industry.

When the electricity leaves the production source in a power plant and is directed to consumers through the distribution system, there are substations along the way to regulate the pressure.
The cabin of the posts in cities is often made of bricks and the door is usually painted yellow. This knowledge-based company has managed to remove the country’s need for foreign products in this field by producing the equipment needed for the posts. The company’s equipment has the advantage of maintaining stability in pressure boosting stations.

Remote monitoring and supervision

Monitoring and remote control terminals are some other products of the knowledge-based company. With their modular and flexible structure, these terminals are a suitable solution for implementing remote monitoring and control systems. According to its managers, the company’s products are offered at a quarter of the price of similar foreign products, while they have after-sales service and warranty.
In the last few years, the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, in cooperation with organizations such as Tavanir, has organized dozens of technical events to boost the presence of knowledge-based companies in the country’s electricity industry. Meanwhile, various support packages have been compiled and allocated in the department.
