1st comprehensive AI tool for Persian language unveiled

In a significant event, the first comprehensive AI-based text processing tool for the Persian language, known as Dadmatools, was officially unveiled with the support of the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. The event was attended by officials, university professors, AI specialists, and industry professionals.

According to the Vice-Presidency’s Communication and Information Center, Dadmatools is a powerful resource for AI specialists and programmers, facilitating the development of NLP (Natural Language Processing) applications in Persian. 

The second version of Dadmatools, released in 2023 with support from the Digital Economy and Smartization Task Force, aims to expand and enhance Persian NLP capabilities. 

The tool is designed to be user-friendly, even for non-experts, and to serve both industry and academic purposes.

Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Sajjadi, CEO of Dadmatech, highlighted the interest from universities in Russia and Canada in collaborating on Persian NLP through this international tool.

The event also featured the unveiling of a memorandum of understanding between the National AI Organization and Dadmatech, offering financial support of up to 25 million tomans for academic theses related to Dadmatools.

The tool currently includes 11 foundational and advanced modules available for free, with a commercial version offering additional features such as semantic search, topic detection, text classification, and advanced semantic spell checking.
