Iran runs new platform to draw in technical experts abroad

Iran has launched a new platform to provide a proper basis for the transfer and commercialization of technological ideas of Iranian experts and entrepreneurs abroad. 

The platform, named Connect Accelerator, has been launched and is operating under the previously established Connect Plus program. 

It is aimed at empowering experts in the path of technological development to establish business start-ups, and companies in Iran. 

During the past 8 years, over 300 startups have been launched and supported through Connect Plus. 

Now, Connect Accelerator is launched to help Iranian experts, researchers and technologists abroad to get to know the technological environment in Iran and priority issues, the process of developing technology and products in the country and help them develop new products and services by providing them with various kinds of support. 

Granting funds, providing training, counseling, and instructing the experts are some of the ways the platform will provide services. 

The accelerator will issue calls on a yearly basis to attract technical projects of specialists, with specific conditions, and the selected projects will receive support to be implemented and become operational.
