Iran to host 3rd Connect Forum to establish bond between Iranian specialists, industries at home, abroad

Iran’s Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation is to host the third Connect Forum at the 18th Iran Plast International Exhibition later this month.

The information center of the Iranian Vice President’s Office for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy reported that the forum aims to establish a link between Iranian specialists and technologists overseas and the active industries in the fields of plastics, petrochemicals and other related fields inside Iran. 

The forum is also tipped to use the capacity and capabilities of the specialists to meet the technological needs and challenges in these fields, and create a network between experts and technologists and the owners of the industries. 

Some specialized meetings will also be held to facilitate communication between the experts and industry owners so they can get a better view of the challenges and opportunities for cooperation.

The Iranian technologists and non-resident experts can also get a glimpse of the technological achievements of Iranian experts at the Iran Innovation and Technology House (iHiT) and can visit the booths of the Iran Plast exhibition to interact with the companies that attend in the exhibition.

The event is scheduled to be held on September 10 from 09:30 to 13:30 local time (06:00 to 10:00 GMT) at iHiT.
