Iranian VP: Iran-Made Exhibition enhances cycle between research and product development

The Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy has said the Iran-Made Exhibition, by strengthening research infrastructure, provides a platform to enhance and complete the cycle of turning research into products and creating research content from knowledge-based and technological products.
Hossein Afshin was speaking during the inauguration of the 12th Exhibition of Advanced Iran-Made Equipment, Laboratory Materials, Testing, and Examination.
According to the Communications and Public Relations Center of the Office of the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Afshin also said this event serves as a bridge linking research, technological, and innovative achievements.
According to the Iranian vice president, beyond being a platform to showcase and present research and knowledge-based accomplishments from recent years, the event has contributed to the development and enhancement of research’s role, especially in producing knowledge-based products.
He added that the Iran-Made Exhibition offers an opportunity to display research achievements that have been transformed into technological and innovative products.
Afshin noted that while Iran-Made Exhibition operates year-round to showcase products, it is held specifically during Research Week to highlight the relationship between innovation, Iran-Made knowledge-based products, and research.
Referring to the exhibition’s role in completing the research-to-product cycle, he said, “When we properly strengthen the research infrastructure, our investigations enter a cycle and lead to content production, which results in the creation of innovative and technological products”.
