Iran to expand scientific, technological ties with Bolivia, Venezuela

Hossein Rouzbeh, head of the Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation, announced Iran’s readiness to strengthen scientific and technological collaborations with Bolivia and Venezuela.
Speaking during a meeting with government delegations from the two countries, he emphasized Iran’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven partnerships.
The meeting included Edmundo Nobio Aguilar, Bolivia’s Minister of Defense, and Francisco Torrelba Ojeda, a Venezuelan lawmaker, who also visited Iran’s House of Innovation and Technology.
Rouzbeh highlighted Iran’s advancements in science and technology, expressing willingness to share achievements for mutual benefit. “The stronger these collaborations, the more our nations will prosper,” he stated, advocating for joint projects and sustainable development.
Aguilar also praised Iran’s progress in various scientific fields, describing its advancements as remarkable. “This cooperation will benefit not only our nations but also the region and the world,” he said, underlining the potential for economic and knowledge exchange.
Ojeda, in turn, echoed these sentiments, viewing Iran as a role model in technology. He expressed hope that Venezuelan institutions could leverage Iran’s expertise to bolster their scientific and industrial infrastructure.
The delegation toured Iranian innovation-driven products, showing particular interest in creative industries and expressing enthusiasm for future collaborations.
