Ivan Rolling Mill inaugurated with annual production capacity of 120,000 tons of steel ingots

With an investment of 12 trillion rials, Iran’s Ivan Rolling Mill was officially inaugurated in the presence of the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
According to the Center for Communications and Public Relations of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice President Hossein Afshin, Ilam Governor Ahmad Karami, and parliamentary representatives Asadollah Cheraghi and Sara Falahi.
The facility became operational on Tuesday, February 12, in Ilam Province, western Iran, after nearly a decade of development.
Construction of the project began in 2013 and has now reached completion with a total investment of 12 trillion rials, including 526 million rupees in foreign funding and 12.3 trillion rials in domestic resources.
With an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons of steel ingots, the Ivan Rolling Mill is expected to play a crucial role in meeting Iran’s domestic steel industry’s demands while fostering job creation and economic growth in the region.
