Six new knowledge-based products unveiled in Qazvin province

Six new knowledge-based products were unveiled at Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin, central Iran, during a ceremony attended by the Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Hossein Afshin.

According to the Vice Presidency’s Communications Office, the newly launched products cover key sectors including aerospace, precision instruments, chemistry, agriculture, and environmental technology. All six have been fully developed through private sector investment.

Among the unveiled innovations was the PRS110A differential pressure transmitter, designed by Pardis Instrumentation Company for accurate measurement of liquid and gas flow, pressure, and density.

Another product, BioHarmony, developed by Fakher Zist Khalagh Company, is a microbial consortium formulated to decompose wastewater and soil pollutants safely.

The Makrer Engineering Materials Company introduced two polymer products; water-based emulsion resins as eco-friendly alternatives to solvent-based resins, and vinyl ester resin, noted for its high resistance to corrosion and heat.

Other innovations included a limited-angle actuator for aerospace and medical navigation systems, and a plant-based nano-pesticide made from neem oil, produced by Hirad Tejarat Nikan Company to reduce chemical pesticide use and environmental harm.
