Vice president congratulates elites on Iran’s National Elites Day

The Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the head of the National Elites Foundation extended his congratulations on the occasion of Iran’s National Elites Day.

According to the Vice Presidency’s Communications Office, Hossein Afshin issued a message honoring the country’s leading scholars, innovators, and researchers, describing them as the “firm cornerstone of progress and excellence” in Iran.

In his message, Afshin highlighted the significance of October 1, which marks the birth anniversary of the late Dr. Mostafa Chamran – a renowned scholar and national hero who was martyred in the war with Iraq in 1981 – and has been designated as National Elites Day.

He praised Chamran as a symbol of dedication to knowledge and service to the nation.

Afshin commended Iran’s scientific and creative talents for their “transformative innovations” and resilience amid external challenges, emphasizing that their contributions illuminate the country’s path toward a more advanced and prosperous future.

He reaffirmed the National Elites Foundation’s commitment to fully support Iranian talents and create opportunities for their growth and innovation, expressing confidence that their efforts would continue to shape the country’s bright and progressive future.
