Iran launches initiative to unite returning experts, create export hub for knowledge-based companies

The head of the Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation, Hossein Rouzbeh, announced plans to establish an export action network in collaboration with returning Iranian specialists.

Speaking at a meeting with a group of repatriated experts, he said the first step toward expanding technological cooperation is to form a cohesive network that connects the valuable capacities of returning professionals.

The meeting, attended by senior officials including Touraj Amraei, deputy for knowledge-based company development, highlighted the role of the Connect platform in linking Iran’s scientific and industrial ecosystem with the global community of Iranian experts abroad.

Rouzbeh praised the platform as a strategic initiative that has become a key pathway for communication and collaboration with non-resident specialists.

He emphasized the need for stronger networking among returnees, noting that many participants could help solve each other’s challenges if better connected.

Rouzbeh also announced plans to create an export hub for Iranian knowledge-based companies, with the first specialized session to be held next week.

The hub aims to enhance collaboration, facilitate exports of high-tech products, and strengthen financial mechanisms to support sustainable growth in the knowledge-based economy.
