Second meeting of returning Iranian experts highlights development of technology diplomacy

The second gathering of Iranian specialists who have returned to the country was held with the support of the Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
According to the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the event aimed to leverage the expertise of Iranian professionals in advancing knowledge-based businesses and promoting international technological collaboration.
The meeting took place at the Iran House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT) with the participation of Hossein Rouzbeh, head of the organization, along with several senior officials. More than 15 Iranian experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers from leading global universities and research centers attended the session.
Participants presented their professional backgrounds and shared views on how to utilize the experience of returning experts to strengthen Iran’s technology ecosystem and address scientific and industrial challenges.
Rouzbeh emphasized the need to build a cohesive network for joint action, noting that collective expertise can yield significant outcomes.
He also announced plans to establish an export hub for Iranian knowledge-based companies to enhance synergy and facilitate global market access.
The meeting concluded with a tour of iHiT’s innovation facilities, providing participants opportunities to explore potential partnerships in high-tech sectors.
