16th nanotechnology exhibition opens with participation of Iran’s vice president for science

The 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition has officially opened with the presence of Iran’s Vice President For Science, Technology, And Knowledge-Based Economy, Hossein Afshin.

According to the Communications and Public Relations Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science, the event brings together 152 organizations and companies active in the nanotechnology sector, providing a platform to showcase the latest achievements and investment opportunities in this strategic industry.

The exhibition serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, innovation promotion, and collaboration among knowledge-based companies, universities, and private sector stakeholders, highlighting Iran’s growing capabilities in nanotechnology.

Statistics released by the organizing body indicate that by March 2025, 1,735 nanotechnology products developed by 401 Iranian companies reached commercialization and received Nanometric Certification from the Nanotechnology Evaluation and Supervision Unit.
