Iran showcases innovation at Plast Eurasia 2025 in Istanbul

The Iranian pavilion for knowledge-based companies has opened at the Plast Eurasia 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey, aimed at expanding export markets and strengthening international technological cooperation.
According to Iran’s Vice-Presidency for Science Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the exhibition, considered the largest plastics industry event in the Eurasia region, runs through Saturday, and hosts manufacturers of plastics, machinery, molds, recycling technologies, packaging systems, raw materials and industrial chemicals.
Supported by Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Organization, the pavilion features 15 companies presenting advanced materials and production technologies.
Iranian participants include firms such as Novin Sanat Zist‑Fam, showcasing starch- and plant-oil-based biopolymer alternatives; Atlas Pooshesh Mohafez, introducing a nano-enhanced cold-galvanizing coating; and Zist Polymer Sharif, offering compostable polymer blends.
Other contributors, including Korangin, Payon Polymer Pornia, and Vira Tech Bartar Pars, are displaying engineering compounds, masterbatches, molds, laboratory equipment and extrusion and injection machinery.
Officials say Iran’s collective presence at Plast Eurasia provides an important platform for regional networking, direct engagement with international buyers and demonstrating the country’s growing capacity in polymer, biopolymer and advanced materials technologies.
