Iran ready to showcase export-oriented knowledge-based companies at international exhibitions

The 13th IranMade Exhibition is preparing to introduce Iranian knowledge-based companies to international markets through both in-person and online platforms, aiming to expand exports to neighboring countries.

Abdolhossein Bahrami, head of the Steering Committee for Knowledge-Based Economy Development and president of the IranMade 13th exhibition, highlighted the country’s readiness to host Iranian companies in targeted foreign markets.

“Iran maintains active private sector connections with countries such as Pakistan and Iraq, but the demand-mapping mechanism needs strengthening,” he said.

Bahrami noted that in countries with suitable market capacity, selected export-capable Iranian companies could participate in physical exhibitions, with Iraq being the initial target.
Parallel online platforms will allow companies to showcase English and Arabic catalogs, export capabilities, and product information, helping establish preliminary connections before the events.

He emphasized that companies should provide transparent and reliable pricing while preparing for targeted market entry. Moreover, detailed assessments of technological needs in universities and laboratories in target countries will guide the selection and preparation of Iranian firms for effective market engagement.

Bahrami concluded by stressing that similar initiatives could be implemented in other neighboring countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan, aiming to create a sustainable path for expanding IranMade knowledge-based exports.
