Iranian company localizes anaerobic jar controller

An Iranian knowledge-based company has domestically produced an anaerobic jar controller system, enabling laboratory microbial cultivation at the same quality as foreign models, but at one-fifth of the cost.

Masoud Babaei-Foroutan, Chief Technology Officer of the company Sogand Tech, announced the achievement during the IranMade Exhibition, highlighting the firm’s focus on advanced laboratory and research equipment for microbiology, pharmaceuticals, and experimental studies.

The anaerobic jar controller is designed to create oxygen-free conditions for microbial growth in laboratories.
Babaei-Foroutan emphasized that the device is a unique product in Iran, while international production is dominated mainly by American companies.

He noted that the advantages of the domestically produced system include high quality, easy maintenance, after-sales support, and competitive pricing. To date, approximately 15 units have been installed and are operational in laboratories across the country.

Babaei-Foroutan also highlighted the importance of participation in the IranMade Exhibition, stating that it provides a key platform for introducing domestic products and expanding the local market for advanced laboratory equipment.
