Blind people can now read texts more easily

A creative Iranian-made product has made it possible for the blind to access the pages of different sites and to read them in an easier manner. 

Alireza Ghassemi, the CEO of Iranian knowledge-based company “A Bridge to the Future”, says the Follow service for the blind is a product of the company that enabled it to join the list of creative companies. 

This product, Ghassemi noted, automatically identifies the main text of a web page and removes its unnecessary parts like ads. According to the CEO of “A Bridge to the Future”, by using speech recognition and text to speech conversion services as well as the up and down buttons of smart phones, this product can switch between different pages of a site and allow the users to access the main text of that page. Ghassemi noted that the product is the digital service of “Signage RayBoard” that has been approved as knowledge-based.
