Iran Petrochem 2026 held on Kish Island with focus on digital transformation

The third Iran Petrochem International Conference and Exhibition officially opened on Kish Island, with Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Hossein Afshin in attendance.
According to the office of the vice president, Iran Petrochem 2026 kicked off on January 6 at the Kish International Conference Center and ran until January 8.
The event aimed to outline new pathways for industrial governance, enhance the competitiveness of Iran’s petrochemical industry, and strengthen systematic links between technology, investment, and production. The conference and exhibition brought together senior petrochemical executives, policymakers, technology leaders, knowledge-based companies, major industrial holdings, and domestic and foreign investors, providing a platform for strategic dialogue on the future of Iran’s petrochemical industry at regional and global levels.
