Iran and Russia sign MoU to generate technological wealth

Iran and Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their international cooperation in the fields of science and technology in a year Iran’s leader has designated as the Year Knowledge-Based and Job-creating Production.
The move is in line with Iran’s grand strategy under its comprehensive scientific plan.
Under the MoU and pursuant to the creation of the Iran-Russia Joint Technological Center at St. Petersburg University, a plan will be put in place to support and monitor the performance of the center in line with the activities of St. Petersburg University and Iran’s industrial universities.
An objective of the MoU is to survey the international scientific activities of Iranian and Russian universities and to use the potential of the universities and research and scientific centers to develop technologies in knowledge-based companies.
