Iran VP Dehghani urges cultural attachment to introduce techno achievements

In a recent gathering of Iran’s cultural advisors, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, emphasized the critical need to introduce and advance technological achievements to other nations through cultural attachment. 

The event took place at Iran’s House of Technology and Innovation, where knowledge-based and creative companies showcased their technological advancements. 

The focus of discussions revolved around creating export opportunities and effectively introducing these innovative products to foreign markets. 

Dehghani stressed the pivotal role of culture in driving the export of knowledge-based and creative products, acknowledging the significance of cultural consultants in facilitating product introductions. 

He highlighted the extensive capacities of Iranian knowledge-based and creative companies, underscoring the need for a digital innovation house to adequately represent and promote these achievements. 

Speaking about the influence of science and technology as a universal language, Dehghani emphasized their potential in enhancing international interactions and advancing public diplomacy. 

He highlighted that during international visits, showcasing Iran’s technological capabilities and valuable knowledge-based products remains a key focus of discussions and cooperation. 

Dehghani emphasized the intertwining of culture and technology, asserting that every Iranian product, whether technological or cultural, conveys a sense of Iranian culture to the host country. 

Dehghani concluded by affirming readiness to support and utilize the potential of cultural consultants in introducing Iran’s technological and creative achievements to other countries.

Iranian cultural consultants spearheading export of knowledge-based innovations

In a recent gathering underscoring the role of Iranian cultural consultants in driving the export of knowledge-based and creative products, Amirhossein Mirabadi, the head of the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions, highlighted the crucial position of over 9,000 knowledge-based companies in Iran’s economy. 

Mirabadi emphasized that these companies contribute significantly to the country’s economic landscape, either by offering their products to international markets or possessing the capacity for export. 

He showcased the House of Technology and Innovation (iHiT) as a prime example of Iran’s technological and innovative capabilities. 

Mirabadi went on to say that the exhibition, displaying the latest achievements of knowledge-based companies, serves as a platform for fostering dialogue and technological cooperation to enhance the export of these products. 

During the meeting, 23 cultural advisors from Iran’s neighboring countries had the opportunity to visit and witness first-hand the technological advancements of Iranian knowledge-based companies. 

They expressed readiness and eagerness to introduce these capabilities to their respective host countries, recognizing the potential for heightened productivity and job creation that this industry expansion brings about.
