8 countries purchase nanotechnological products from Iran

The development of the nanotechnology market is among the major goals of Iran’s nano industry. Boosting exports of these products, making inroads in foreign markets and finding new ones would help diversify Iran’s export portfolio.

It also contributes to the sustainability of nanotechnological companies.

Iran’s nano industry has grown considerably and its products have been supplied to world markets for years. Hence, the introduction of these high-quality Iranian-made products to foreign countries is a must and a highly important objective. This mission is supported by Iran’s vice president for scientific and technological affairs.

The office of the vice president is seeking to implement plans for this purpose to help with the export of Iran’s nanotechnological products. Official figures show that in the Persian year of 1400, Iranian companies exported nano products worth 62 million dollars. Meanwhile, after the year 1398, nano exports rose by 53% in 1400 compared to the previous year. Turkey and Iraq are the most important customers of Iranian-made nano products and Iran’s knowledge-based companies have exported products worth over 10 million dollars to these two countries.

Other customers are Russia, India, Kazakhstan, the US, Britain, Mongolia and Pakistan.
