The production line was inaugurated by Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Rouhollah Dehghani at the Kimiyagaran company in Markazi Province.

Dehghani highlighted the importance of knowledge-based companies in creating added value and employment by putting to use raw materials in industries.

Iran has all the basic supplies and needs for making progress and achieving excellence in the pharmaceutical industry, the official said.

For his part, Ali Aghamohammadi, who heads the economic taskforce at the office of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, said at the event that efforts should be made to facilitate the issuance of permits for knowledge-based companies and pave the way for their activities.

There are many obstacles hindering the work of producers, which need to be removed, he added.

During the event, the governor of Iran’s Markazi Province, Farzad Mokhles-ol-a’emeh also delivered a speech, saying the province ranks first in the country in terms of industrial production.

The province, he added, can benefit from the capacities of knowledge-based companies.
