Vice president: Iran to create specialized hub for development of semiconductor technology

The Iranian vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy sys Iran is planning to establish a regional hub for the development of semiconductor chip technology to serve as a foundation for synergy that is necessary for the joint production of companies.
Rouhollah Dehghani made the remarks on a tour of the Dornika Electrics Caspian knowledge-based company in the city of Qazvin.
Dehghani said, considering the company’s capabilities and achievements, it can start a collaboration with the Technology Park of Qazvin Province and help inaugurate the semiconductor hub under the aegis of the vice presidential office.
Dornika Electrics Caspian has recently produced a ventilation fan module for automobiles, which saves the country three million dollars annually in exports.
The executive director of the company, Milad Dabaghha, said the firm has the capacity to produce 600,000 pieces of the module every year.
The module, which enjoys semiconductor technology, can sense the temperatures in the vehicle and reduce or increase the speed of the air conditioner to adjust the temperature.
