Iran unveils consumable knowledge-based medical equipment products

Iranian knowledge-based companies have unveiled 16 knowledge-based and technological products related to health, including medical equipment and consumables.
The unveiling ceremony was held in Iran Health Expo 2024 featuring medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and laboratory equipment in the Iranian capital Tehran, with top officials, including Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Rouhollah Dehghani, attending the event.
A digital radiology device, quantitative luminance kit, single-use elastomer injection pump, ventilator, cardiac femoral, Veress needle, non-reinforced aortic cannula, anesthetic machine, contrast media injector, pulsed suction, hard contact lenses, smart cuff device, baby humidifier chamber, at-home ECG monitor and an addiction diagnostic kit are among the newly-presented products.
The expo kicked off on Saturday and will wrap up on Tuesday. It hosts over 700 knowledge-based firms and startups and 200 foreign guests.
Over 60 specialized meetings will be held on the interaction between businesses, sharing experiences and connecting technological needs and demands and the latest technological and innovative achievements of companies in the health sector will be presented.
The organizers of the event are the Iranian vice president’s office, ministry of health, ministry of industry, mining, trade and the Pardis Technology Park.
