Lebanese delegation visits IHIT, calls for interaction

A delegation of Lebanese technologists visits the Iran House of Innovation and Technology for the purpose of promoting international technological and scientific interactions with the Iranian side. 

According to information center of the Office of the Iranian Vice-President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Lebanese delegation headed by Dawud Noufel, head of the country’s Scientific Center for Construction and Production in Beirut, along with his deputy Ali Shahimi, visited the permanent fairgrounds of IHIT in order to expand scientific and technological exchanges and promote cooperation between Iran and Lebanon. 

Then a meeting was held between the officials of both sides at the exhibition. During the talks, the IHIT officials introduced Iran’s technology and innovation ecosystem and the role of the VP in this ecosystem, the capabilities of Iranian knowledge-based companies in the field of medical equipment and medicine, agriculture, nano, etc. 

The Lebanese delegation for their turn said they were pleased to visit IHIT and Iran’s scientific and technological advancements. 

They spoke about Lebanon’s problems and needs and urged the Iranian side to contribute to the scientific and technological development of the Arab country and help Beirut solve those problems.
