Iran displays latest knowledge-based health products in Vietnam expo

Iranian knowledge-based and technology companies have displayed their latest innovative achievements in a medical equipment and pharmaceutical industries exhibition in Vietnam.

The information center of the Iranian Vice President’s Office for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy reported that 12 Iranian companies, supported by Iran’s International Innovation Zone, showcased their products in Pharmedi 2024 held from September 11 to 14 at the International Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

Medical equipment, pharmaceutical materials, diagnostic imaging and dental equipment, disposable devices and other medical tools were among the items presented in the expo.

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili, who represented Iran’s scientific vice president in the event, held meetings with Vietnam’s deputy health minister and the heads of pharmaceutical and medical equipment industry associations in the Southeast Asian country to facilitate the export of Iranian health products. 

About 700 companies from the US, Brazil, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland and Iran participated in the event.
