Int’l mine exhibition underway in Iran

The 13th International Investment Opportunities in Iran’s Mines and Mining Industries Exhibition, known as MINEX 2024, was inaugurated in the Iranian capital on Monday, the Communication and Information Center of the Iranian Vice President’s Office for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy reported. 

Sadegh Tavasolizadeh, the head of the Strategic Center for Development Headquarters affiliated with the scientific vice president’s office said, “The exhibition is a good opportunity to introduce new innovations and achievements in the field of mining and related industries.”

He underlined the synergy and cooperation between large industries and startups and knowledge-based companies, saying it can strengthen the innovation and technology ecosystem in Iran.

“The synergy can lead to the further growth and development of mining industries and as a result, lay the groundwork for positive economic developments in the country,” Tavasolizadeh stated. 

He explained that knowledge-based companies can help improve performance, reduce costs, and increase safety in large mining industries by providing new technologies and creative solutions.

The head of the strategic center added, that large industries, on the other hand, can help in the development of new ideas and the growth of companies by providing financial and infrastructural support for startups.

The three-day event will end on this Thursday.
