Iranian nano company leaders among top 2% of world’s scientists

Four members of a prominent Iranian company specializing in protective coatings and nanotechnology have been ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.
The individuals in question are key members of a company producing advanced cold-galvanizing coatings containing nanomaterials, as well as antibacterial acrylate-urethane varnishes with nanometric components that protect substrates from UV radiation.
The company’s innovations in the field have earned its members a place among the elite 2% of scientists globally.
The distinguished scientists include Dr. Iman Ali Bakhshi, the CEO of the company, Dr. Bahram Ramezanzadeh, Dr. Mohammad Ramezanzadeh, and Dr. Mohammad Mahdavian. Dr. Bakhshi is also affiliated with the Research and Technology Growth Center of the Institute for Color Science and Technology and serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the institute.
The list, published by Elsevier BV, ranks scientists based on standardized citation metrics, h-index, hm-index, and other key indices, factoring in citations across various authorship positions and a composite indicator score.
According to Iran’s Nano Headquarters, the list includes over 217,000 scientists from around the globe, with nearly 2,000 Iranian scientists represented.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the managers of this Iranian nano company have been recognized among the top 2% of global scientists, further demonstrating Iran’s prowess in the cutting-edge field of nanotechnology.
