Iran hosts experts, entrepreneurs at Connect Forum 4

The fourth Connect Forum event was held at the Iran House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT), featuring numerous Iranian specialists, entrepreneurs, and international achievers on the second day of the 15th International Nano and Micro Technology Exhibition.

Ali Hosseini, Deputy Director of the Organization for the Development of Scientific and Technological Cooperation, stated that the event aimed at fostering networking and interaction with non-resident Iranian specialists, creating a bridge to leverage their skills and experiences.

“The most valuable asset of any country is its human resources, and our country’s greatest advantage is its educated and skilled workforce,” said Hosseini.

He highlighted the Connect program’s efforts to utilize the expertise of internationally active human capital, providing a platform for Iranians worldwide to contribute to their homeland.

The forum hosted over 50 individuals, creating a space for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and networking among Iranian professionals with international experience and local industry and technology activists.

Vahid Khodami, founder and CEO of Darman Gostar Renap, discussed his molecular cell biology studies at Harvard University and his work on vaccines. 

Seyed Ali Mousavi Shayeg, CEO and co-founder of Rizasamaneh Improvement, detailed his post-doctoral journey at Harvard and the challenges of entering the biotech and health sectors. 

Sina Mozaffari Jovin, a faculty member at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and a post-doctorate from the Max Planck Institute, spoke about his studies, research in the health sector, and other activities in Iran.
