Iran hosts intl. exhibition of achievements in traditional medicine

The Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology holds a webinar, in the course of the 6th Exhibition of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine, with a focus on introducing the facilities and special services that will be provided to creative firms in the field.

Seyf Sahandi, the secretary of the Vice Presidency’s committee for the development of science and technologies related to medicinal herbs and traditional medicine, said, “One of the major sections of this exhibition is the display of technologies and achievements in the value chain of medicinal plants and traditional medicine.”

“In line with the development of the international market in the fields, the exports pavilion is also one of the attractive parts of this edition of the expo,” he added.

As scheduled, he added, over 100 foreign businessmen and trade delegations will join the event. Guests from countries such as Iraq, Turkey, Russia, Afghanistan, Syria, Oman, Kenya and Venezuela will also take part.

“We have also planned face-to-face meetings to facilitate communication between domestic companies and international traders, so that the firms can present their products to foreign business people. In addition, we also organize training workshops to teach the requirements for developing the international market,” the official added.
